  I worked primarily with Kathryn Sterling. My brother's service was November 27th. During a time of bereavement one needs to have patience with you and empathy. She had that plus at least 10 yrs of solid experience in this field. Everything was perfect...the obituary/program, services, as well as services at cemetery. Family and friends were pleased with everything. To be honest with you Aaron & Burney Bivens Funeral went over and beyond the basics.

  I cannot express how amazing Aaron and Burney Bivens are. Their whole staff in the funeral home was so catering, genuine, professional, and just went above and beyond my expectations.
  
  My mom died so unexpectedly from a heart attack, and we weren't prepared for anything. Aaron sat us down, empathized, and really helped us with EVERYTHING. He worked out a memorable service for my mother that was within our budget and exceeded our expectations.
  
  In such a tragic and stressful time, Aaron, Burney and company were able to coordinate everything flawlessly. I cannot RECOMMEND them enough. My family and I have such a wonderful memory to cherish because of them.

  My Mom had a funeral service at St Catherine's, and then was buried in Detroit with my Dad. I live in Virginia. Complex and a stressful time. Aaron and Burney Bivens coordinated everything for me. Mom was picked up immediately and carefully. Bivens was very professional. Three very sturdy gentlemen – fully capable of handling the casket, impeccably dressed, well spoken, and quietly respectful of the occasion – brought Mom to the church in an immaculate black hearse. They knew the church procedures and escorted Mom's casket through the ceremony. Bivens had made Memorial Cards and brought a guest book. They coordinated with a Detroit funeral home and everything there went smoothly. The Detroit funeral director complemented their preparation of Mom for burial. I am VERY impressed with the caring professionalism of the Bivens people.

  When I went into the Funeral home i was so stressed and confused about the death of my love one. But they where so concerned and professional very organised and did not leave any questions unanswered....Thank you Mr.Aaron Bivens.
